In 2013, it was officially registered with the government of Malawi with the aim of providing quality, affordable products, and services to every client that it serves.

Powerstart Car Batteries are available for in both JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) and DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) types, and they are also available in the maintenance-free option.
Powertex deals with industries batteries for ; UPS, Forklift, Traction Batteries, Telecoms Batteries, Standby Batteries, Mono-blocks and any other industrial which would be supplied upon request.
The Solar Division under PowerStart stocks all solar items which can be sold as single items or systems for Home use or Industrial use both as Electricity Back up or Pure Solar Installations.
